Technical Sales Manager - in Columbus
Candidates are required to reside or be willing to relocate to the Midwest region of the United States (IL, MO preferred).
Primary Responsibility:
Strategically manage the key accounts and OEM customers to cultivate positive partnerships and increase sales, primarily in the tag and label and web fabrication industries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet assigned revenue objectives. (Quota)
- Cultivate new business opportunities with existing accounts.
- Communicate emerging market demands and new product requirements to effectively compete in the marketplace.
- Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.
- Support the customers with technical assistance and training.
- Actively use CRM to the expectations of the organization.
- Foster cross-selling of OneMaxcess.
- Provide all necessary competitive information regarding price targets and production locations.
- Other duties as assigned to meet departmental and Company objectives.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior die cutting, converting or flexographic experience required (minimum of 5 years).
- Demonstrated knowledge of flexographic printing techniques, product design for manufacturability and production methods required to meet customer requirements.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good basic mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent organization and follow through skills.
- Must be able to make sales calls at the customer level.
