The Impact You’ll Make on this Role
As a Treatment Design Team Manager, you will lead a large-scale production organization and a team of supervisors, driving operational excellence while developing strong, values-driven leaders. - Set clear expectations, goals, and accountability frameworks aligned with business priorities and Solventum values.
- Foster a culture of psychological safety, open communication, and continuous feedback, where teams feel safe to speak up and grow.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, talent assessments, succession planning, and recognition initiatives.
- Facilitate leadership forums and meetings to drive alignment, engagement, and execution.
Operational Excellence & Business Execution
- Own operational performance for orthodontic/dental digital treatment production, including productivity, cycle time, quality, and SLA compliance.
- Establish strong prioritization practices to ensure urgent business needs are addressed with speed and accuracy.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics daily; take decisive and timely action to correct risks or gaps.
- Ensure standardized processes are consistently followed while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and throughput.
- Balance short-term execution with long-term operational sustainability.
- Support and lead special initiatives or critical business projects as assigned by senior leadership.
Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner closely with global cross-functional teams (Sales, CST, Manufacturing, Quality, Training) to align service delivery and business objectives.
- Act as a key point of escalation and decision-making, ensuring issues are resolved with urgency and clarity.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders, providing updates, insights, and recommendations based on data.
- Establish regular stakeholder cadences to ensure transparency and alignment.
Customer & Escalation Management
- Lead and manage high-impact escalations related to treatment design, quality, or delivery timelines.
- Communicate effectively with customers (dentists, orthodontists) when needed, ensuring resolution, trust, and satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement & Strategic Thinking
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging leaders and teams to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
- Leverage data, Lean/CI methodologies, and best practices to improve workflows, capacity planning, and team performance.
- Translate business strategy into actionable execution plans for leaders and teams.
- Actively support change management initiatives and organizational transformation efforts.
Training, Compliance & Governance
- Partner with Training teams to ensure effective onboarding and leadership readiness for new supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and industry standards.
- Promote consistency, governance, and accountability across all teams.
Data-Driven Leadership
- Use dashboards, KPIs, and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership with clarity and confidence.
- Drive decisions rooted in data, balanced with strong people judgment.
